:: Diminutive Josan Sarouk rug mat featuring an oversized center medallion in stepped contour atop an elongated floral bouquet enveloping the main medallion. Corner spandrel overlays mimicking the contour of the main medallion, filled with similar stylized branches and blossoming buds to that found in the main field. Unusual coloration, likely from an antique wash to soften the shades at some point in time, in an otherwise classic first quarter twentieth century design. Lovely abrash striating the top third of the rug. Colors and shades include: Dark chocolate brown, antique ivory, bronze, dusty blush, oxidized copper green, dusty mallard green, sky blue, and more. Condition notes: Even short pile across, light areas of knot heads showing only to edge, very minimal. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
