:: Heriz region with very fine design execution and unique artistic merit likely woven without a specific map or cartoon. Phenomenal shades, made by the Baha'I peoples bearing an inscription cartouche top and center loosely dated to 1948. Double center medallion with aquatic blue ground, one absent of design the other filled with floral design elements. Finely woven for type, with field elements of floral cross sections, multi-layered germinating plants, pinwheel blossoms, and colorful buds. Very unique and unusual shades! Colors and shades include: Dark chocolate brown, sapphire blue, sky blue, beige, sandalwood, chestnut brown, cream, powder blue, sapphire blue, navy blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Tatter to sides. Localized areas of restoration scattered throughout. Ideally suited for a lower traffic area deeper inside the home as foundation remains exposed. Sides will be reinforced on the reverse with belts and or a pad provided prior to shipping to endure with minimal edge roll through use. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
