:: Classic Karaja mirrored end medallions with center hook and latch main medallion with asymmetric weight atop a covered field of serpents, pinwheel design elements, detailed blossoms, and a starburst main border in colorful fills and checkered interconnecting vinery. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, dusty teal, cherry red, madder root red, chestnut, ivory, beige, sand, sky blue, sapphire blue, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides, mostly secure ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja square rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 3'4" x 4'3".
