:: Allover covered field in a repeating floral gul known as elephant footprint design motif. Wrapped by a reciprocating germinating plant minor borders and intricate multi-minor borders in barber pole stylization with alternating tri-coloration. Ends are in an unpatterned striated varying banded thickness alternating colors in knotting as opposed to plain weave, as often found in the type. Colors and shades include: Deep fuchsia, magenta, rust, navy blue, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of mends, darning, and repairs in varying degrees of expertise. This rug is wider than it is long, and sizes have been inverted from our normal convention to ensure presence in our size range search filter. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkmen square rug made in Turkmenistan circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'9" x 3'11".
