:: Unusual ivory ground Malayer with allover covered field in a seemingly endless interconnected design motif of nuanced blossoms and palmettes, as well as serrated scrolled leaves and minor buds wrapped by a serrated leaf meandering vine main border and floral top view blossoms. Colors and shades include: Ivory, copper, navy blue, terracotta, powder blue, jade green, pale yellow, beige, pale ruby red grapefruit, dusty aubergine, and dusty mauve. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of mending and minor split correction to side. Newer refresh to side cord selvages. Light edge bubbling which will ease through use, wear, and correct pad. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'3" x 6'10".
