:: Concentric center medallions with stepped contour and ram's horn finials atop a covered field of pinwheel design elements, wrapped by stepped corner spandrels reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Wide banded main border with dramatic scrolling cloudband floral design motif carried throughout. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, dusty blush, antique ivory, pale sage green, mauve, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Large areas of professional restoration to foundation and localized areas of re-piling. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 5'9" x 8'5".
