:: Unusual center medallion Sarouk defined by densely ornamented floral spray in a diamond shaped contour atop an open field and oblong inverse corner spandrel field overlay in similar densely ornamented floral design to the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, deep raspberry red, navy blue, sky blue, pale seafoam, blush, pink, rose, powder blue, ivory, beige, and more. Condition notes: Even original pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Very small and faint light etching to the field of old cleaned moth damage. Faux fringe on part of each end. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Sarouk carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 6' x 8'11".
