:: Oversized center medallion adorned by double tiered finials of floral palmettes in blossom bouquet wrapped by a main border of Turtle Samovar and partial Herati design motif. Unusual deep and dark shades for the design and the type with great saturation. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, navy blue, sapphire blue, gold, rose, blush, mallard green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. A few small freckles of white knots showing through to the surface of the pile. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 7'5" x 10'4".
