:: Sprawling oversize serrated leaves atop a covered field of geometric vines, blossoms, floral cross-sections, large scale palmettes, and buds throughout. Main border in a reciprocating Samovar Turtle design motif with buds encompassing a central floral design element. Heavy abrashes across. Unusual coloration and color combination in a hard to find size. Colors and shades include: Dusty jade green, celadon green, terracotta, pale ruby red grapefruit, beige, sand, ivory, dusty rose, dusty powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Two or three localized areas of restoration to the pile, mainly found on one corner and one end outer minor border. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 7'10" x 10'7".
