:: Oversize roundel center medallion with interior flowing scrolled arabesques arranged in trefoil contour atop a covered field of similar interconnectivity and high level of expertise design rendering. Incredible striations of powder blue, sapphire blue, and natural orange shades. A very finely woven and exquisitely drawn and executed example as a high level example of type and age. Colors and shades include: Ivory, cochineal red, sapphire blue, lime green, emerald green, coffee brown, powder blue, navy blue, deep burnt orange, beige, camel, seafoam green and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Scattered areas of white knot freckles from foundation poking through to the surface. One end measures 8'4" whereas the opposing measures 8'11", which is within normal margins for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kerman square carpet made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage.
