:: Allover covered field of floral cross-sections arranged in bouquet style orientation. Main border in a large scale partial Herati stylized serrated leaf and main flower design motif. Minor borders in repeating boteh design motifs. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, pale saffron yellow, powder blue, pale coffee brown, blush, rose, mallard green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some possible areas of localized touch-ups, namely to the red shade regions and most definitely color fast. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 9' x 11'6".
