:: Highly unusual and early example of a Fereghan carpet, in unreduced original proportions with narrow framed main field in lattice paneled diamond shaped outline with each interior fill of tree of life motif, and wide banded main border with classic early green signature shades of Fereghan carpets from the mid-1800s. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, rust, aubergine, navy charcoal, ivory, sky blue, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Fereghan rug runner made in Persia circa 1850's vintage. Size measures 3'1" x 13'9".
