:: Diamond shaped center medallion with partial Herati interior fill. Adorned at either end by slightly asymmetric finials atop a covered ground of seeded lattice oriented design. Inner and outer minor borders in a reciprocating pawn design motif with truly amazing striations and rainbow like stretches of saffron yellow, lime gold, blue teal, and mallard green shades. Colors and shades include: Camel, beige, sand, burgundy wine red, ruby red grapefruit, dusty mallard green, sky blue, lime green, dusty teal and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 4'3" whereas the opposing measures 4'9". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size.
