:: Roundel oversized center medallion with boteh, vine, and palmette end field overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the medallion. Main border in a boteh and Samovar design motif with partial Herati nod. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, ivory, sapphire blue, mallard green, blush, dusty rose, burgundy wine red, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight contour to shape with minor bowing, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'6" x 6'1".
