:: Triple center medallion with stepped serrated border and interior detailed celebratory blossoms atop an unusual ivory ground in a larger multi-banded stepped border. Unusual ribboned and highly intricate ground motif with great detail, wrapped by a colorful main border of floral top views. Colors and shades include: Ivory, madder root red, sapphire blue, dusty bronze, ivory, pale saffron yellow and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Areas of oxidation with recess to knot heads, especially in the tones of brown and charcoal families. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Afshar rug made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 4' x 5'9".
