:: Stepped diamond shaped center medallion with dramatic sharp serrated contour finials atop a covered field of scrolled vines. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion. Main border in an alternating inverted turtle samovar and partial Herati motif design. Colors and shades include: Brick red, navy blue, madder root red, jade green, lime green, sapphire blue, beige, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 7'5" whereas the opposing measures 7'9". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
