:: Triple gul center medallion in large scale format with enveloped germinating plants, floral plant views, pomegranate design motifs, zig-zag main border, serpent stylized inner and outer minor borders, and a reciprocating wave outer most border. A few scattered serpents throughout the main field. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, cobalt blue, navy blue, dark chocolate brown charcoal, faded tangerine orange, powder blue, jade green, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Weave across in mostly original condition. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Ideally suited for a lower traffic area deeper inside the home. Original end fringe macrame intact. Isolated areas of foundation showing through. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand woven Soumac design carpet made in the Caucasus circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 7'2" x 10'5".
