:: Covered field in an allover Herati design motif. Main border in a Samovar cross-section with interior blossom floral design elements in simplistic form. Colors and shades include: Brick red, powder blue, sky blue, navy blue, jade green, platinum, pale saffron yellow, dusty mallard green, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple repairs in varying levels of expertise. Two patches approximately two by three inches with the other two by two inches. Localized areas of fade and oxidation, mostly isolated to the middle of the carpet. A few localized areas of older staining. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 7'10" x 10'7".
